Dagwoods 2 Arcade has evolved from the first Dagwoods which was owned by Troy's grandparents, Dick and Melba Sweet, in 1995.  Most of the vintage arcade games that are in the current arcade were original to the 1995 Dagwoods. After the first Dagwoods closed, Troy's father, Gary, bought out Grandma and Grandpa Sweet. For thirty years previous to this past December 2025, Sweets Amusements only serviced and supplied locations. In 2022 Troy and his wife, Jamie, took over ownership of Sweets Amusement.

  When Troy and Jamie bought the building where Dagwoods 2 is currently located, they saw a space that could be more than just an arcade. The size and layout of the building offered a multitude of different services that could be offered. Their vision was to make this a multifaceted venue that the whole community could enjoy.
